McDonald's Is Making More Than 50 Changes To Its Burgers Next Year

There's a real chance that next year your McDonald's burgers will taste even better than they do now. A lot of big changes are being made to the fast food chain's signature burgers, and they will start to appear in early 2024.

McDonald's announced in April that it was going to make some changes to its famous burgers, including the Big Mac, the McDouble, the classic cheeseburger, the double cheeseburger, and the hamburger.

Some of them are using softer buns that have been grilled until they are a perfect golden brown, cooking the onions right on top of the burger patties, and making sure that all the cheese is melted perfectly.

The Wall Street Journal reported on November 30 that Young told the newspaper that McDonald's is making more than 50 changes to its burgers. These are the biggest changes to McDonald's main menu items in decades.

The burgers will have more Big Mac sauce, meltier cheese, and fresher lettuce and pickles. Most of the details are still secret, but we do know that the beef patties will be cooked in smaller batches so that they get a more even sear.

The chain is still a big deal in the fast-food business and makes a lot of money, but it's hard to keep a good image with its customers. For example, McDonald's got the lowest customer satisfaction score (69%) out of all the fast food chains that were looked at in this year's American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) Restaurant Study.

Customers have also been very angry at McDonald's because prices have been going up and the food is becoming more expensive. In the United States, the chain saw fewer customers in the third quarter of 2023 as people with less money worried about how to pay for food.

Because McDonald's wants to make its burgers better, it is changing some of the ways it used to make them quickly, cheaply, and efficiently.

McDonald's first made these changes to the burgers in restaurants on the West Coast earlier this year. During the summer, they were brought to restaurants in the Midwest as well.

Fans should keep an eye out for the new and better burgers in the coming months because the chain wants to make the changes at all of its US stores by the beginning of 2024.
