Man/Woman/Youth
of the Year

Each year the Board of Directors of the NCRSC selects one member of the club who has given his/her time and energy promoting the Californian rabbit, supporting our club, helping members and in general has dedicated their time to the NCRSC. Nominees must have been a continuous member of the club for not less than 5 full years. Past recipients have served in various ways such as club officer, news editor, committee chairman, or a strong membership booster, auction coordinator, avid showman, someone who gives new breeders a helping hand, a breeder of good quality winning Cals and in most cases more than one of these accomplishments.

Anyone can nominate a member for this award. Send an email to simmonsmilt@yahoo.com no later than September 22, to nominate someone you feel is worthy of this prestigious award.

This award exists in honor of Bob & Mary Keller and was first awarded in 2009. Any member of the NCRSC can nominate a youth member for this award. The nominee should be a NCRSC member for 3 years or more, participate in civic activities at local, state and national levels, show good sportsmanship as an exhibitor, enhance the interest of the Californian rabbit, contribute and participate on committees with NCRSC and show dedication of the club and the breed.
